20 Rounds - .223 Green Tracer Ammo

Made to true Soviet military tracer specifications, this bright green tracer ammunition is safe to shoot in any weapon chambered for .223 cartridges.

The bright green streak of light generated by each of these 20 rounds is created by a special pyrotechnic charge located at the base of the projectile. Easily seen either day or night, the trace begins straight out of the muzzle and continues to be visible for up to 400 yards.

Intended for use as a military aiming aid, green tracers illuminate the trajectory of the projectile. This highly visible trail allows the shooter to observe where his rounds are hitting without seeing the actual impact of the bullets.

In the civilian world, tracer rounds are often used as a novelty round, providing a fun and entertaining shooting experience. They do pose a mild fire hazard, so care should be used to avoid firing into dry brush or other highly combustible materials.
