22 HORNET Ammo
The 22 Hornet (which is not to be confused with “The Brown Hornet” from the Fat Albert cartoons) is a varmint hunting cartridge introduced in 1930. It is substantially more powerful than the 22 WMR – albeit with virtually zero recoil – and its reloadable centerfire design has also contributed toward its popularity for metallic silhouette shooting. Formerly issued by the U.S. Air Force as a survival round!
