8mm LEBEL

The 8mm Lebel (aka 8x50mmR Lebel) was the very first smokeless propellant rifle cartridge ever made (by France, no less). If you own a Lebel Model 1886 rifle, then a cartridge with a 231 grain bullet and 2,300 fps muzzle velocity will give you ballistic performance comparable to that of France’s Balle N spec ammo. If you own a Model 1892 “Lebel” revolver, take care to avoid the mistake of purchasing 8mm Lebel ammo for it.

Haven't used it yet but it all looks good. This particular ammo is seldom produced so you have to grab it when you see it. I grabbed 6 boxes to give me plenty of brass for reloading after firing. Graf's has the bullets, but as far as I know, this is the only 8mm Lebel revolver manufactured brass.
