17 FIREBALL

The 17 Remington Fireball (aka 17 Fireball) hit the market in 2007. Like its predecessor the 17 Remington, this centerfire cartridge is designed to launch a tiny 20 grain bullet to a velocity of 4,000 fps – with less powder, and therefore less resultant fouling and heat as well. The 17 Fireball failed to set the varmint hunting world on fire, and as such is normally only made by handloaders.
