Speer 147 Grain Jacketed Hollow-Point (JHP) Ammo Details

This 9mm cartridge by Speer features the highly popular Gold Dot projectile. Because its jacket has been formed electrochemically, one single molecule at a time, it is not only extremely concentric to promote straight flight but further essentially inseparable from its core. The importance of that is reflected by this bullet’s performance on the FBI test protocol: Whether it passes through heavy clothing, steel, drywall, or plywood, the Gold Dot loses virtually none of its weight. It even keeps itself together during penetration to guarantee that it keeps an astounding percentage of its weight intact.

The Gold Dot projectile’s nose cavity is preprogrammed to expand not only to the correct width for optimal terminal effect, but also at the correct rate for it as well. That kind of reliability is complemented by this round’s sensitive CCI primer and nickel plated brass casing. Both its casing’s enhanced lubricity and bullet’s nose profile promote snagless feeding in a semi-automatic, so you can be confident with the knowledge that you can perform a mag dump fast and effectively.

As always ATG got the shipment out quickly. Ammo is great for the range, where I use it. Browning Hi-Power and CZ 75B ate it up with no malfunctions. I'll buy more.
