Hornady Ammunition 55 Grain Flex Tip (FTX) Ammo Details

One of Hornady's newer offerings from their Critical Defense line of ammunition is this 223 Remington 55 grain FTX ammo. These 223 Rem cartridges are contained in nickel-plated brass casings that are Boxer-primed, new-production, and reloadable. The 55 grain FTX ammo has a polymer flex-tip designed to keep the hollow point free of any debris that could hinder penetration or expansion. The large mushroom formation that results from the projectile striking a target is specifically engineered to slow and stop the bullet within soft tissue. This ammo is available in a 200-round bulk case.
