The supersonic burst that follows when you pull a trigger is in many situations very satisfying. For example, listening to the hearty boom echo back and forth against the hilltops after you’ve fired a rifle often marks the final phase of a successful hunt. The bullet’s full metal jacket disposes it perfectly for high volume shooting, which you’re entitled to do a lot of with 1,000 rounds to work through, as it will keep your bore cleaner for longer.
