12 Gauge Lightfield Commander IDS Plus 3" Mag 1 ⅜ ounce Sabot Slug Ammo – 5 Rounds
Lightfield Ammunition Corporation perfected the sabot slug design while engineering rounds for the US Marine Corps. The same patented technology that went into their military munitions designs were incorporated into their slugs for civilian big game hunters. The Lightfield Commander IDS Plus was designed as a high velocity, extremely stable, extended range Sabot Slug.
This package contains five rounds of Lightfield Commander IDS Plus 12 gauge ammunition. Each 3-inch magnum shotshell is loaded with a 1 ⅜ ounce sabot slug for use in modern rifled barrel and smooth bore shotguns. Lightfield’s patented IDS design combines a soft lead slug with a plastic sabot that remains attached to the projectile until target impact. This design aids wind stability for improved accuracy while producing controlled expansion for deeper penetration on the heaviest big game animals.
These high-quality shotgun loads are factory fresh and produce an impressive 3850 foot pounds of muzzle energy and leave the muzzle at a velocity of 1700 feet per second.
