This .38 Special ammunition features world-famous Hornady XTP (eXtreme Terminal Performance) jacketed hollow point projectiles. Each high-performance bullet weighs 125 grains and has a number of unique design features. Several precise serrations divide the projectile into symmetrical sections which weakens the copper jacket, initiating controlled expansion even at low velocities. These bullets are also engineered with a special swaged core with uniform core density that guarantees balanced terminal expansion and provides in-flight stability for increased accuracy. With no exposed lead, XTP hollow points function properly on target impact and function reliably in modern semi-automatics.

Leaving the muzzle at a velocity of 900 feet per second, each factory fresh round generates a muzzle energy of 225 foot pounds. This ammunition is non-corrosive and features reliable powders, boxer primers, and nickel-plated brass cases. Each package contains 50 rounds.
