This 38 Special ammo by Prvi Partizan is perfect for target shooting, and you’ll be glad to have it on your side during a self-defense snafu, too!The LSWCHP hits its target with its broad, level tip. That and its shoulder enable the mostly cylindrical bullet to cut much a cleaner hole through paper than your standard FMJ could ever manage. In short, if you’re shooting paper targets and want a better idea of just how tightly you’re grouping your shots, then the LSWCHP is going to deliver.
This round’s 158 grain bullet’s tip is also a hollow point. The simple solid lead projectile will expand inside soft tissue if it hits a threat or quarry at a fast enough velocity. But if you run this ammo through a short-barreled pistol like an S&W 642, it’s still going to punch a nasty hole even if it doesn’t have sufficient energy for expansion.
