200rds – 300 AAC Blackout Ammo Inc. stelTH 220gr. TMJ Ammo Details

Ammo Inc. might have misspelled the word “stealth,” but that doesn’t make their stelTH line of 300 AAC Blackout ammunition any less stealthy. This is a cartridge with a very heavy bullet at 220 grains. As such it cannot reach supersonic muzzle velocity, so it can’t produce a jolting cracking noise when fired. You don’t need a suppressor to fire this ammo, but its report is impressively subtle if you have got one.

stelTH ammo also performs very cleanly. This round’s bullet is a total metal jacket. In contrast to the more common FMJ, the TMJ’s jacket fully encloses the bullet’s base. (Ammo Inc. calls their TMJ a “TMC,” but they are the same thing.) Propellant gasses won’t vaporize the lead in the bullet’s core, thus preventing the accumulation of lead residue inside of a rifle’s barrel. This ammo will also leave a suppressor’s baffles a whole lot cleaner, which is great because cleaning them can be time-consuming. This ammo’s performance is even cleaner courtesy of its manufacturer’s Hyperclean Technology, which mitigates residue buildup.

Ammo Inc. is a newer American manufacturer. Their bullets, new brass cases, non-corrosive primers and clean-burning propellants are all made in Payson, AZ and Manitowoc, WI.
