12 Gauge Lightfield Commander IDS Plus 3" Mag 1 ⅜ Ounce Sabot Slug Ammo – 25 Rounds
Lightfield Ammunition Corporation perfected the sabot slug design while engineering rounds for the US military. The same patented technology that went into their shotgun rounds for the Marine Corps is incorporated into their slugs for civilian big game hunters. The Lightfield IDS Commander Plus was specifically engineered as a stable, high velocity, extended range sabot slug. Designed for use in modern rifled barrel and smoothbore shotguns, there isn’t another slug like this on the market today.
This package contains 25 rounds of Lightfield Commander IDS Plus 12 gauge ammunition. Each 3-inch magnum shotgun shell is loaded with a 1 ⅜ ounce (600 grain) 73 caliber sabot slug. The patented IDS design utilizes an impact-discarding sabot. This design aids in inflight stability and controlled expansion for the deeper penetration necessary to bring down the largest game animals.
This ammunition is factory fresh and produces a blistering muzzle velocity of 4759 and a powerful 3850 foot pounds of muzzle energy.
