Established in 1952 as Matra Provincial Metal Works, MFS is an ammunition manufacturer located in Sirok, Hungary. Although the company originally produced ammo for military use, they began to serve the civilian shooting community in the 1950s.

This package contains 20 rounds of MFS .308 Winchester (7.62x51) ammunition. Each factory fresh cartridge is loaded with a 145 grain full metal jacket projectile. Offering consistent performance with an economical price tag, these loads are well-suited for target shooting and recreational plinking. Each round produces a consistent muzzle velocity of 2455 feet per second and a muzzle energy of 1940 foot pounds.

This non-corrosive ammunition is Berdan primed, making it perfect for long-term storage. These loads feature a progressive burning smokeless propellant and zinc-plated steel cases. The special zinc coating makes extraction easier and reduces camber wear. Because these steel cases are not made with a lacquer or polymer coating, they will not gum up the action of your firearm.
