250rds – 308 American Quality Ammunition 168gr. HPBT Ammo
250rds – 308 American Quality Ammunition 168gr. HPBT Ammo Details
These .308 Winchester rounds from American Quality Ammunition are a low cost option for blasting away with your favorite bolt-action or semi-automatic battle rifle. This cartridge profile consists of a brass casing which has been fitted with a non-corrosive Boxer primer and annealed at the neck and shoulder; this process ensures a proper seal in the chamber for repeatable performance while preventing splits and fractures which could ruin reloading potential.
The bullet used in this load is a 168 grain Hollow-Point Boat-Tail (HPBT) which is optimized to resist drag and wind shift for remarkably improved precision over tradition FMJs. 168 grains is often used for high grade match ammunition in the .308 caliber and will closely match the ballistic trajectory of numerous practice brands as well. The HPBT projectile also possesses a toothed cannelure at its crimp point which resists jostling for added accuracy.

Not pretty but I have preferred reloads for the price. Took it out to the range with my Sig heavy and Sightron 832X56 LRMOA-H scope. I had it pre 0 at 300 yds. I warmed up the Sig with 10 down range rounds and then turned to the bird splatter target at 300 yards. With bipod in place my first 3 rounds were a 1 inch moa and others followed. When I got home I went to the desk to order more (much more) and found that it was all gone. $ .60 for a 308 168 gr. bthp with brass case is a real find. Will be buying more as available. Not pretty but then I am not dating it.

Excellent for the price. I shoot almost half of the box and the accuracy is better than the price suggests. Just over 1moa. I'll buy again. Ballistics are very similar to my 168 gr handled so I can use the dope without change out to 500 yds

Very stained and rough looking brass in one of the two boxes I ordered.
Looks weathered not shinney
Hope shoots better than it looks
