1000rds – 45 ACP Sellier & Bellot 230gr. FMJ Ammo
1000rds – 45 ACP Sellier & Bellot 230gr. FMJ Ammo Details
We figure that 50 pounds of ammo is a good amount for one box to hold. A thousand rounds of 45 ACP is enough to let you shoot for as long as you’d like, whenever you’d like. Also, if the box was any heavier, OSHA would require that two guys lift it. We swear we can lift more than 50 pounds, but we’re sure not complaining about the rule. This cartridge is made by Sellier & Bellot in the Czech Republic. Its 230 grain bullet is the FMJ you want for a range round, with a standard lead core and a copper alloy jacket. It will spare your barrel from leading, but it’s less suitable for self-defense than a hollow point (which Sellier & Bellot makes as well). This round’s 853 fps muzzle velocity is not significantly faster than what the standard issue military round calls for out of an M1911A1. Sellier & Bellot’s brass casings are always a fine choice for handloading, so see how much more life you can get out these 1,000 rounds before we can send you some more!

This is really my favorite S & B. Have shot Magtech, Lawman all pretty good. I have shot 1000s of rounds of this in Kimber .45 and Micro 9. Like was mentioned Kimbers take 500 600 rounds to break in. Then no Jams at all. Not like the Sig 939 9mm. Never jams. Thank you. Great company. Ships fast.

Only shot 250 rnds so far, out of a new Kimber 1911 (known to be picky until break in) and have not had a single problem. Good price and reliable. What else do you need for the range?

I have shot a lot of ammo and reloaded many thousands of rounds of ammo too. S&B ammo is a great shoot for target and just shooting and plinking in the woods. I have about 10,000 rounds of S&B.

Good round for the purpose (range, plinking). Price is right. Went thru 500 round and no issues.
