5rds - 12 Gauge Bore Thunder Flash Bang Ammo Details
These 12 gauge rounds are manufactured by A.L.S. Technologies, the leader in Less Than Lethal and diversionary ammunition. Each new production shotshell produces a bang of 175 decibels at 5 feet, a 182dB bang, a bright blinding 1.5 to 2 million candelas flash, and a concussive blast of 1.5 to 2 atmospheric pressure units. This produces a serious stunning effect that can be used when distraction is desired above lethal force.
This ammunition is not restricted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATF) and is used by prison units and SWAT teams around the world.
Although these loads are designed to be “less than lethal,” they should only be used with extreme caution. Serious injury or death may occur if these rounds are misused. Proper training in tactical munitions is recommended. Risk of serious injury or death is still present, especially at close range. Hearing protection is required. This ammunition produces a loud concussive bang that could result in hearing damage.
