Remington Ammunition 180 Grain Jacketed Soft-Point (JSP) Ammo Details
Remington’s UMC ammunition may not have flashy packaging or an enormous selection to choose from. What it does offer is a desirable blend of great quality and fair prices. If you’re looking for a trustworthy 44 Magnum cartridge for your rifle or handgun, then this round’s going to put you on velvet. This cartridge features a 180 grain jacketed soft point. Although an older bullet design, the cost-effective JSP’s ability to penetrate tough barriers and hides and subsequently unleash catastrophic deformation within its target will never let it become obsolete. This round’s bullet features a cannelure that helps its jacket and core to retain their combined weight, as well as a flattened tip that makes it ideal for lever-action rifles.
This hunting and self-defense cartridge features a new production and reloadable brass shell casing, a charge of propellant that burns to yield a consistent chamber pressure, and Remington’s classic Kleanbore Boxer primer for reliable ignition.

Most accurate .44 magnum I have shot! From my Ruger Kodiak 2.75" revolver, I shot 10 rounds (slow fire) "DOUBLE ACTION" from 25 yards. All ten rounds into a 4.5" Bullseye target and 8 into the X-Ring measuring 3" group!
