This 22 LR cartridge from Winchester’s Wildcat 22 line of ammunition offers everything you need to enjoy a good time of plinking or target shooting. It’s an exceedingly cost-effective round, a feat it owes not only to its diminutive caliber but also its projectile -- lead simply doesn’t cost very much, especially if you make a round nose bullet out of it. Still, this bullet’s profile is inherently aerodynamic, and it further penetrates targets rather well. It also delivers great impact energy, and while a hollow point would be better suited for the chore of squirrel dispatching you’ll find few squirrels are immune to the effects of such a bullet as this round’s.

This is also an accurate round due to its supersonic 1,255 fps muzzle velocity, a factor which does much for the flatness of its trajectory. Winchester’s rimfire primer always accomplishes its singular purpose with flying colors, and their propellant won’t foul up your firearm’s action quickly.
