5000rds – 22 LR Remington 22 Thunderbolt 40gr. LRN Ammo

5000rds – 22 LR Remington 22 Thunderbolt 40gr. LRN Ammo Details

This 22 LR cartridge from Remington’s 22 Thunderbolt line of ammunition combines reliable performance with a price that would make the impact of firing 5,000 rounds in one day practically negligible to your bank account. This round features a 40 grain projectile, its caliber’s original weight and one that delivers good, balanced performance. The bullet’s lead composition does much to lower its overall price, and gives it the ability to flatten out somewhat in soft, small targets to drop them fast. Its bullet’s round nose also makes this round a cost effective choice, as well as one that delivers good energy and penetration on impact.

This cartridge’s supersonic 1,255 fps muzzle velocity will issue a satisfying crack when fired, and give you the flat trajectory you need for satisfying and rewarding target practice. As a Remington this round’s other components don’t fail to satisfy; Its brass casing is precisely formed and corrosion resistant, its propellant burns clean, and its rimfire primer is both reliable and non-corrosive. If you’re looking forward to high quality shooting all day, then these 5,000 rounds are just what it’ll take to get you there.

I have shot several thousand rounds of this ammo without a problem. It shoots well in all of my .22 firearms and seems to be reasonable accurate with all of them.
