My girlfriend and I go target shooting at an outdoor range just north of Pensacola. We have found the 1070 fps ammo is more accurate than faster rounds at 50 and 100 yards. It is very humid here and we are at sea level.

Very consistent for the price.
Burns very clean.
Why spend more for no improvement in performance? -

I can no longer shoot anything else. I found that the CCI standard velocity is the most consistent and accurate .22 ammo out there. It is surprisingly quiet with a suppressor for ammo not rated as subsonic. With a Savage MK II FV-SR you can hit a quarter at 50 yards every time. This ammo shoots really well with this setup.

never had a dud or squib round. Pretty quiet and
accurate and takes it's share of squirrels with head
shots.
Great for informal target or fun plinking.
Isn't ALL plinking fun?
