This package contains 20 rounds of CorBon Thunder Ranch .38 Special ammunition. Each cartridge is loaded with a 110 grain Barnes X hollow point projectile. Barnes X bullets are made of solid, heat treated copper for extra toughness. This solid construction eliminates the risk of core/jacket separation, holding the bullet together for deep, dependable penetration and maximum terminal energy transfer.
Barnes X projectiles are engineered with a deep forward cavity. This design causes the nose to peel back upon target impact, forming four razor-sharp petals. When viewed head-on, these petals resemble the letter “x.” It is this X expansion that gives the Barnes X its name. These sharp copper petals effectively carve a massive wound channel, producing maximum stopping power and amazing terminal performance.
This ammunition is factory fresh, non-corrosive, boxer primed, and features fully reloadable brass cases. These +P overpressure rounds produce a consistent muzzle velocity of 1050 feet per second and 269 foot pounds of muzzle energy.
