This ammo has the 300 BLK’s heaviest common projectile. At 220 grains the bullet just can’t pick up enough steam to break the sound barrier before clearing the barrel, so it’s not capable of issuing a crack during ignition. That’ll make any rifle quieter, but with a suppressor the effect is amazing. The total metal jacket promotes cleaner overall performance thanks to its completely sealed-in lead core.
