22 Long Rifle

The 22 Long Rifle (aka 22 LR) is the most popular cartridge in the world. Its low cost, low report and low recoil all make the rimfire round fun to fire for shooters of all ages. Choose a solid point (aka round nose) bullet for target practice, or a hollow point for varmint hunting. A copper-plated bullet helps to decelerate barrel fouling. Standard bullet weight for 22 LR is 40 grains; lighter loads usually deliver higher velocity. Subsonic 22 LR (i.e. with a muzzle velocity less than 1,125 fps) is usually more accurate.

    Did not want to load consistently in my Sig P322. It is a 20 round mag and I have to be very deliberate loading it as the nose of the round will tip down and not feed. If I load the mag full they end up tipping down and jamming. I finally figured out I could limit the load to 12 rounds and it will feed great. At least I can still use the rest of the box.

    This is now my go to ammo for shooting suppressed 22LR. It’s very clean compared to other run of the mill 22LR. Good velocity to ensure relatively normal cycling. My suppressor and gun stays much cleaner with this ammo so I can shoot more and clean less. It’s also well priced for what you get. Highly recommend.
