357 MAGNUM

357 Magnum ammunition is unquestionably the most popular magnum revolver cartridge in the United States. Bullet weights ranging from 100 to 200 grains are common; 125 and 158 grain jacketed hollow point (JHP) bullets are both popular for self-defense, while the heavier projectiles are more frequently chosen for hunting. You'll see all our in-stock options for sale below.

If you have a 357 Magnum revolver or lever-action rifle and would like lower-recoil performance, then you may also safely fire 38 Special.

Great ammo. Very accurate and soft shooting in my Ruger Gp 100.

Shoots good, no duds, burns pretty clean no split casings. Will be buying more after this review.

I moved to 180 gr. Federal Because I didn’t know about this site. I really didn’t believe the people tell me that the 357 mag 158 gr. Would disappoint if used in a rifle. The barrel length was the reason. Once I tried the Federal 180 gr. I was pleasantly surprised! Could not believe the distance achieved by the 357mag 180 gr. I would welcome the 200 gr. & see the performance. Simply put: if one is hunting Deer or Boar, I would not attempt without the correct ammunition.

This may well be the best defensive 357 magnum round out there. Excellent penetration and good expansion especially out of a full size revolver and even better in a carbine.
