The all-new American Gunner line from Hornady features time-proven load recipes built using high grade components for which the company has always been recognized. As such, these .357 Magnum rounds utilize reloadable brass casings, clean-igniting Boxer primers, precisely measured propellant charges, and eXtreme Terminal Performance (XTP) projectiles. Hornady engineers their powder mixture to produce minimal flash for decreased night-blindness and faster follow-up shots. This ammunition is American made and backed by over 65 years of experience with unique projectiles.

Hornady designed the XTP bullet for self-defense but it is also utilized for competitive purposes due to its dimensional consistency and superb accuracy. XTP jacketed hollow-points are noted for reliably expanding in targets at a variety of velocities due to a thinner copper layer with deep skiving that borders the hollow cavity at the front of the bullet.
