500rds – 22 LR Remington 22 Subsonic 38gr. HP Ammo

500rds – 22 LR Remington 22 Subsonic 38gr. HP Ammo Details

There are a lot of reasons your would want to invest in high quality subsonic 22 LR ammunition. Maybe you’re treating little Johnny or Janey to their first session at the range, and wouldn’t like to turn them off of the pastime by exposing them to loud, scary noises. (They can fire the 460 Weatherby Magnum the day afterward.) Maybe you’d like to shoot targets where discretion is advisable, such as at a family reunion. Maybe one day you’ll be watching Shakespeare in the park, and you’ll spot a squirrel you’d like to shoot without interrupting the actors. Whatever your reason might be, it’s good enough for us! (Unless it’s the third one we just gave -- that one’ll get you some jail time for sure.)

This 22 LR round from Remington’s aptly named 22 Subsonic line of ammunition has a muzzle velocity of only 1,050 fps, so it’ll register a substantially softer report than the full-speed stuff. Its 38 grain projectile is made of lead, which along with its hollow point enables it to widen to significantly greater than its original diameter during penetration. The bullet is mounted on a quality brass casing, and is complemented with a dependable and non-corrosive rimfire primer.
