Since 1976, Gemtech has been an industry leader in the development of cutting-edge, innovative suppressors. After years of recommending various ammo brands for use in conjunction with their extensive line of products, Gemtech introduced their own optimized round for suppressor use.

This package contains 50 rounds of Gemtech Silencer Subsonic .22LR ammunition. Each round is loaded with a 42 grain lead round nose projectile. These subsonic rounds combine a heavy-weight bullet, clean-burning powder, and a premium lubricant on the lead projectile, to produce consistent velocities and hard-hitting terminal performance at subsonic, suppressor friendly speeds.

The 42 grain lead round nose projectile is heavier than most traditional .22LR rounds, however it remains light enough to maintain in-flight stability. This heavyweight produces hard-hitting energy perfect for steel target shooters, and often means the difference between a wobbling target and full knockdown.

This new production ammunition produces a muzzle velocity of 1020 feet per second with a muzzle energy of 97 foot pounds. Use this ammunition for target practice, range training, and plinking. It pairs especially well with Gemtech and other suppressors.
