Winchester Ammunition 250 Grain Lead Round Nose (LRN) Ammo Details

This special limited edition John Wayne commemorative ammunition is produced by industry legend, Winchester. One of the most respected names in the shooting world, Winchester is synonymous with quality, tradition, and performance. Each new production .45 Long Colt cartridge is loaded with a 250 grain lead round nose projectile. Perfect for fans of John Wayne and old westerns, each nickel-plated brass case is head-stamped, "DUKE 45 COLT". Each box features an image of “The Duke” and contains 50 rounds of ammunition.

This ammunition generates a muzzle velocity of 750 feet per second with 312 foot pounds of muzzle energy. This commemorative ammunition was only produced in 2007 to celebrate John Wayne’s 100th birthday. Born in 1907, John Wayne gained legendary status by starring in more than 170 films. He earned an Academy Award for his role in the classic western film, True Grit. Like Winchester, John Wayne is an American icon of courage, integrity, and character.
