This high-quality .22-250 Remington hunting ammunition from Corbon features deep-penetrating Barnes Triple Shock X bullets. Weighing in at 53 grains, these heat-treated solid copper projectiles deliver deep penetration and rapid controlled expansion. Perfect for hunting, these tough bullets are engineered with a deep forward cavity which causes the nose to peel back and form four surgically sharp petals upon target impact. When viewed from the front, these petals form the letter “X.”
The revolutionary Triple-Shock X offers all the benefits of the time-proven Barnes X plus a triple impact effect for deadly on-game performance. The first wave of energy hits the target upon initial impact. There is then a second energy wave released when the X bullet begins to expand. Finally, a third devastating shock wave emanates when the specially engineered cavity reaches full expansion.
The solid construction of the Triple Shock X eliminates the threat of core/jacket separation. The result is consistent 100 percent weight retention for the deepest penetration of any expanding bullet on the market, up to 28 percent deeper than the best lead-core bullets.
