Wolf Ammunition 150 Grain Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) Ammo Details

This 308 Win cartridge by Wolf is just what to reach for when you want to ventilate some targets while leaving your savings intact. It features a 150 grain bullet with a full metal jacket, an effective solution for range training (although less so for hunting and self-defense). The bullet’s outer layer of copper will keep your rifle’s bore free from heavy deposits of lead residue.

Like many cartridges from Russia, this one’s is made of steel instead of expensive, copper laden brass. We would argue that the main drawback with steel is that it isn’t reloadable, so in spite of this cartridge’s Boxer primer you will not have any fun with it at a reloading press after you have fired it. Some people criticize steel casings for their reluctance to cycle smoothly through a semi-automatic, but Wolf addressed that issue nicely with their PolyFormance coating. This casing’s thin, protective layer of polymer greatly facilitates feeding and extraction, and it doesn’t leave behind gunky residues after doing so!

Love steel, no miss fire just smooth shooting. When I use brass it gets jammed sometimes or miss fies in my m1a, but since I switch to steel I haven't had a problem.

Ran through this order in two outings. Every single round fired just fine the steel cases landed within 6 feet of each other every single one. Not a single missfeed or miss fire accuracy at 200 yard was about 8” but it’s range ammo
