500rds - 223 Black Bear 55gr. FMJ-BT Ammo

500rds - 223 Black Bear 55gr. FMJ-BT Ammo Details

This 500-round case of .223 Remington ammo is a great way to build your personal stores or prepare for an upcoming training event without cleaning out your bank account. Black Bear ammunition by Barnaul features non-corrosive Berdan primers, non-reloadable steel casings, and brass-jacketed bullets; unlike their bi-metal offerings, the brass material causes fewer sparks on indoor bullet traps and outdoor steel targets. While the steel casings are not reloadable, they are highly affordable and have been successfully used to supply Eastern military units for decades. Each case is coated with a light polymer film in order to resist rust in storage.

This particular .223 load utilizes a 55-grain full metal jacket bullet with a tapered boat tail (FMJ-BT) rear. The shape resists drag in-flight and increases accuracy while the light weight offers controllable recoil and comparable drop to numerous hunting and duty loads. Black Bear ammunition is manufactured at the Barnaul plant in Russia using methods and materials that have withstood the test of time and military contracts for nearly seven decades.
