Prvi Partizan was founded in Yugoslavia in 1927, which makes it one of the few ammunition manufacturers to have achieved the distinction of outliving its country of origin. This cartridge is loaded with a soft point bullet. It’s not so technologically sophisticated that you would feel guilt for just firing it at the range. But if you use it for hunting, you can take confidence knowing that the tough copper jacketed bullet will penetrate deeply whilst simultaneously undergoing positive terminal expansion.

PPU clocked this round’s 2,690 fps muzzle velocity with a 24” test barrel. At that rate the heavyweight 180 grain projectile attains a G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.372 – sufficient to guarantee supersonic velocity all the way out to approximately 865 yards!
