PMC Ammo

PMC is a versatile ammunition company that has numerous offerings for target shooting, self defense, hunting, and competition uses. They even have a comprehensive line of military-grade ammunition, making them a top choice for nearly any organization or gun owner in the world. Today, American shooters have learned to trust that PMC's bulk ammo is among the best bets you can find for value and quality when it comes to hit the range.

PMC stands for “Precision Made Cartridges,” and they have many brands that meet this commitment to refined accuracy.

PMC’s Bronze ammunition, for example, is designed for recreational shooters and riflemen who want performance and velocity from a cost-effective cartridge. This is a top choice for high-volume target shooters that don’t want to compromise down range results.

eRange ammunition, on the other hand, is made for indoor shooters. It gives off no airborne lead or heavy metals and is designed the reduce burn residue. This creates cleaner air and a safer environment inside closed-air facilities or areas with little air filtration.

Starfire is PMC’s line of ammunition made for personal defense and handgun hunting. It provides hyper-expansion, with penetration measured at 9 to 14 inches. This makes it ideal for both home defense and big game pistol hunting.

X-TAC and X-TAC Match are lines of ammunition made for target shooting and tactical situations. It is a popular choice for both military and law enforcement around the globe. X-TAC Match is especially calibrated for elite competition shooters.

All PMC ammunition is fully reloadable, allowing high-volume shooters to reuse their brass while saving time and effort on your favorite sport.

The company uses a vertical integration philosophy in their business. This means PMC and their suppliers are capable of handling numerous aspects of the production process. As an example, PMC’s supplier produces every component in the manufacturing process of all centerfire pistol and rifle cartridges. This results in greater quality, consistency, and savings, allowing PMC to provide the finest ammunition at an surprisingly affordable price. This is especially important for high-volume shooters who can’t afford to sacrifice quality at competitions or in practice.

All of PMC’s sporting ammunition meets either SAAMI or U.S. military specs, creating reliable, consistent shooting products.

1 round if this PMC 44mag tcsp 240g out of my s/w 629 took a 565# black bear right off his feet. Shot was placed 6" behind his left front shoulder, knocked him down and nothing but the death groan followed.

PMG 240gr TCSP is the best Ammo I’ve ever used in my Ruger semi auto rifle. The rifle was made in 1969 and shoot this ammo flawlessly.

I really like the profile and the ballistics of the PMC ammo. It cycles with no problems in my Winchester 1892 and my Marlin 1894. I does hang up in my Henry, but so does the Fiocchi ammo I have. Both the PMC and the Fiocchi are hot loads. The Magtech 240's I have cycles just fine in my Henry, but that is a cheap round with poor ballistics. Apparently the Henry has very tight clearances, to tight for hot loads.

PMC Bronze .308 offers high value performance; getting consistent 1 1/2” groups in both gas and bolt guns. Very clean.
