This is 147 grain full metal jacket ammunition: not at all ideal for self-defense, but perfect for self-defense training if you would entrust your life to any other manufacturer’s 147 grain JHP ammo. PMC places this round’s muzzle velocity at 975 fps, which is 100% normal its bullet weight. It’s also subsonic (albeit still standard pressure and capable of cycling any semi-auto), so you’ll be able to fire away without making quite so much noise. Suppressor friendly!

PMC is a subsidiary of South Korea’s biggest nonferrous metal manufacturer. It’s little wonder why their bullets do not contain steel, and also why their brass cases are made well enough to endure multiple handloads. The word “corrosive” does not apply to this ammo’s Boxer primers in any way, shape or form.
