The 9x23mm Winchester cartridge was introduced to the commercial market in 1996, when it was marketed largely to competitive shooters who were in search of a replacement for the 38 Super. The round’s chief advantage is its stronger casing, which permits it to endure a higher chamber pressure. As the result this round has the ability to deliver performance like that of a 357 Magnum out of a semi-automatic pistol.

This cartridge has its caliber’s original 124 grain projectile. The bullet’s jacket means that it will not quickly foul your pistol’s bore with lead residue while you’re training with it.
