50rds – 9mm Blazer Clean-Fire 147gr. TMJ Ammo Details
There are two types of TMJ. One is a painful medical condition affecting the joint and surrounding muscles of the jaw. You don’t want that one. The other is a bullet with a core that is totally encapsulated by its jacket, thus preventing white hot propellant gasses from aerosolizing the lead in its base during ignition. You do want that one, especially if you train indoors where ventilation might not be up to the task of protecting your sweet, pink lungs. This 9mm cartridge from Blazer’s Clean-Fire line of ammunition earns its name from more than its 147 grain projectile. Its special primer and propellant are also designed to emit virtually no toxic substances such as lead, barium, and barium during ignition. They are so clean burning, in fast, that this round’s casing is visibly shinier than that of a comparable round’s once emptied.
This is aluminum cased ammunition. It is lighter and less expensive as the result, but the tradeoff is that it is non-reloadable. You will want to see if your range is okay with aluminum scattering their floor before taking this ammo there as well.
