Georg Luger didn’t sit down to design the 9x19mm cartridge because he wanted people to use it for target shooting. The old bean intended to develop something better than his original 7.65x21mm round – and dadgum it, he did!

This ammunition was loaded by Barnes of Utah, but its bullets were made by the no-less-American Sierra of Missouri. They are fine-tuned jacketed hollow points, which are equally designed for smooth feeding, reliable expansion, and assured stopping power. Do your part. Barnes is most famous for their solid copper bullets, but they load a fine lead-core bullet as well. This ammo’s JHPs are neatly seated in precision-drawn brass cases and backed by judiciously paired primers and powder. Those lightweight JHPs and just barely supersonic muzzle velocity don’t dish out all that much in terms of recoil; power factor is 131.7.
