CBC, a Brazil-based group of manufacturers, created this 5.56x45mm ammunition using the NATO-defined specifications for M193. This configuration calls for a 55-grain full metal jacket bullet with a boat tail (FMJ-BT) rear, lead core, copper jacket, and toothed cannelure at its crimp diameter; the cannelure helps to secure it in its brass casing under recoil for optimized accuracy and increased dependability. Each casing has been properly annealed (heat-treated) at the neck and shoulder for primer reloading life and houses a non-corrosive Boxer primer at its base. The primer is accompanied by a precise measure of sealant which prevents moisture from infiltrating the cartridge and ruining the powder charge.The M193 load is standardized, light recoiling, and matches a wide array of ballistic tables, hunting ammo, and even cartridges designed specifically for use by law enforcement in urban environments.
