500rds – 9mm Winchester 147gr. Bonded JHP Ammo

500rds – 9mm Winchester 147gr. Bonded JHP Ammo Details

What is “bonded” ammunition? Is it strictly for British secret agents? Can you use it to cover up rust spots on your truck? No! It’s a lot better than either of those stupid things. It’s ideal for self-defense!

Winchester loaded this 9mm round with a 147 grain projectile. That’s heavy, and therefore subsonic. The bullet’s higher mass also grants it higher momentum, which it can use to penetrate deeply through a threat’s defenses. And because the bullet’s copper jacket is fused (i.e. bonded) to its dense lead core, it is able to penetrate barriers like clothing, drywall, and even sheet metal without parting with a substantial percentage of its mass in the process. The bonded JHP achieves reliable terminal expansion as well, which why this round delivers an injury that is at once deep and broad.

Winchester loaded this 9mm round with a nickel-plated brass case, too. Nickel’s not just shiny. It’s not just slick, which facilitates smoother operation of a semi-automatic, either. Because it’s corrosion resistant, nickel also shields the brass underneath from tarnish spots!
