500rds – 9mm Brown Bear 115gr. FMJ Ammo Details
Brown Bear ammunition takes its name from its steel casings, which sport a thin layer of lacquer that both immunizes them somewhat from corrosion and assures reliable cycling through a semi-automatic weapon. This 9mm round’s casing is fitted with a non-corrosive Berdan primer which is well-made and certain to ignite under conventional circumstances, and although it isn’t suited for reloading its handsome price tag more than compensates for that little shortcoming. This round’s 115 grain bullet has a hard bimetal jacket. That even further facilitates reliable feeding, and also protects your weapon’s bore from becoming dirtied by lead residue. This round’s low price and non-expanding bullet make it just the ticket for range training. While we may be biased on the subject, we emphatically believe that you can never train enough with your 9mm pistol. For that reason, please make certain to order at least 5,000 rounds from us a week -- AT LEAST.

Ammo-To-Go is my go-to supplier, always the best prices and prompt delivery.
We use mostly Brown Bear for range work with our collection of Russians, so quickly picked up on this. Our G19 is well-maintained, so I was surprised to see a roughly 7% misfire rate after 200 rounds. This may have been due to the hi-cap non-OEM mags we used, as our P226R had no problems whatsoever (and is usually more choosy about ammo.) -

I have put over 1,500 rounds of the 9mm Brown Bear ammo thru my Berettas (a 94 and a Px4). I have yet to experience a misfire and find the rounds to be no more dirty than most. Order was placed on a Thursday and in my hands on Monday. ATG is the way to go and this ammo is just fine for range or plinking. I stay with LE rounds for carry.

This ammo has been excellent through all my 9mm handguns and is hotter than most 115gr 9mm FMJ, velocity tested 10rd average at 5 feet from muzzle:
Kahr K9 3.5" 1185fps, Kahr MK9 3" 1156fps, Boberg XR9-L 4.2" 1233fps, HK P2000SK 3.26" 1164fps, EAA witness 4.5" 1245fps.
The primers are a little harder than in most 9mm ammo, but the fired the 2nd time around and this happened maybe 2 times in 500rds. Otherwise perfect. -

Put 500 through my G19, no misfires, cleaner than WWB, affordable ammo, no problems when going from brass to these or back. Fast service with ATG as always. Great ammo for plinking or practice. Carry +P+ RA9TA also available here, the best. Will order again and again. <br />

I have purchased and fired 2500 rounds of both this and Silver Bear with no malfunctions. I find it accurate and clean in all three of my Glock duty weapons (17,19,26). Great price for range ammo. I stay with LE grade for carry. Thanks ATG. Always quick shipment and a pleasure dealing with you.

Purchased 500 rounds on a Thursday and had the ammo in my hands Friday!! I have since put 150 rounds through a brand new S&W Sigma 9mm with no issues. Smell was not any worse than any other ammo I have shot but I use an outdoor range. Great price...great value...will definitely purchase more of this in the future. Thanks ATG!!!

As the other reviewers, no misfires or such but yes, OUTSIDE only. Have also noticed that cleaning is harder for my Beretta, all I have of this type ammo is the 9mm and for general plinking its fine but always run some more expensive as the last mag to help clean the barrel. It leaves leftovers. Probably won't buy anymore of this brand.

Bought 500 rounds. No failures or Duds. I would highly recommend that it be shot OUTSIDE. My indoor range has great ventilatiion, but I could actually taste this stuff after 2 mags. Outside was not an issue. For the price, it can't be beat. Ordering another 500 now.

I put 350 rds of it thru a G19 had no misfires, not really dirty, great accuracy and grouping. Will definitely use when I am not reloading. Ammo2go is professional, fast and has the best prices I have encountered on the web. You can't go wrong with ammo from here or this ammo for that matter.
