Each cartridge features a 230 grain XTP hollow point projectile. XTP stands for eXtreme Terminal Performance. Designed by industry superstar, Hornady, these high-performance projectiles feature six serrations designed to weaken the jacket and produce controlled expansion at low velocities. XTP bullets are also made with a swaged core and drawn copper jacket which ensures uniform expansion and in-flight stability.

This non-corrosive ammo is boxer primed and features a reliable, clean-burning propellant mixture. Cases are made from nickel-plated brass to facilitate smooth feeding and extraction, especially in modern semi-automatic weapons.
