This ammo’s bullets are something really special, however. The hollow point is designed to supply supremely consistent accuracy thanks to its flat base, sleek profile, narrow hollow point meplat and balanced lead core. The HP is not going to expand after striking its target; its terminal ballistics are actually akin to those of an FMJ. Its nose cavity merely indicates that its jacket was created first, and subsequently injected full of molten lead – the reason why its core exhibits greater rotational stability than a standard ball round’s FMJ.
