This cartridge features its manufacturer’s 124 grain FlexLock bullet. The JHP projectile’s nose cavity contains Hornady’s patented Flex Tip, a column of polymer that preserves the bullet’s ability to expand by keeping its hollow point free of debris. The FlexLock is an extremely resilient bullet thanks to its high-antimony lead core and InterLock band, the latter of which ensures that the core and jacket do not detach from each other following high-velocity impact.
