There ain’t nothing wrong with standard 9mm ammo. But supposing you’d like something a little … extra, should the stuff ever hit the fan. Well, in that case, you’d be well advised to make the jump up to 9mm +P.

Remington High Terminal Performance (HTP) ammunition is quality stuff. This round’s bullet may not be especially heavy, but its capacity for high weight retention assures it’ll make effective use of all 115 grains. The HTP’s jacketed hollow point design enables it to expand until it has doubled in diameter. That kind of terminal performance (high, specifically) poses an extreme hazard to the threat, and can also help stop the bullet from passing clean through to a bystander.

This is over-pressure ammunition. Can’t fire it in a gun that isn’t designed for it (which mainly includes antiques). Can’t fire it without noticing stronger recoil, too. But so long as you aim it right, you can expect this round to hit its target with about 5% more energy than any standard-pressure 115gr alternative.
