This 7.7 Japanese (7.7x58mm Arisaka) round by Precision Cartridge, Inc. is a great way to enjoy your Type 99 rifle come hunting season. Its 180 grain projectile is a common weight for its caliber, and features a boat tail base that measurably increases its ballistic coefficient to deliver a flat trajectory and more energy to strike its target with upon impact. This bullet’s exposed core enables it to deform and widen considerably during penetration, ensuring the wide and traumatic wound channel that a clean, fast kill depends upon.
