Hornady Ammunition 147 Grain ELD Match Ammo Details

6.5mm Creedmoor fans will love these match-ready rounds for their consistency and unbeatable precision. Each of these rounds from Hornady's Match line is crowned with the ELD (Extremely Low Drag) Match projectile which has a boat tail rear, secant ogive, and Heat Sheild tip. This unique tip is molded from a proprietary polymer that resists melting while in high-speed flight, unlike conventional ballistic tips. As a result, these 147-grain bullets are among the most accurate in their class.

Each bullet is crimped into a reloadable brass casing which has a non-corrossive Boxer primer at its base. Hornady formulates their propellant grains for whole, clean burns which leave minimal residue behind. This lengthens time between cleaning sessions and helps preserve optimal accuracy for as long as possible. Hornady's ammunition is manufactured in Nebraska and supported by almost six decades of experience. Their projectile designs are so well-respected that other major ammo companies choose them as components in their full-up products.
