“Aguila” is Spanish for eagle – the mightiest bird in the sky, which don’t need no rifle to take its prey.

You are not an eagle. You are something even better: a man (or a woman, which is equally better). And instead of big flappy wings and pointed toenails, you take your prey with your 6.5 Creedmoor rifle!

This Mexican-made cartridge by Aguila is loaded with a 129 grain soft point projectile. It’ll hit a velocity of 2,810 fps the instant it pops out of a 24” barrel, and probably rise about 5.6” above the bore line before slamming into a 300-yard target (with 1.5” high sights). If that target happens to be a deer, then the SP’s copper-alloy jacket and exposed lead tip will inflict the kind of wound channel that turns said deer into tomorrow morning’s venison breakfast.

Aguila has been honing their craft since 1961, and loads quality new brass cases and sensitive, noncorrosive Boxer primers to show for it. You can reload this ammo if you want – just one more advantage to not being a carnivorous bird.
