Remington High Terminal Performance doesn’t rewrite the book on 45 ACP. This round’s 230 grain bullet weight and 835 fps muzzle velocity (5” barrel) are both as stock and standard as they come. The bullet itself follows the standard jacketed hollow point formula; a highly effective one, especially when it includes the HTP bullet’s rugged copper jacket and notched, jacketed rim that reliably yields to terminal expansion.

Remington touts the HTP JHP as being capable of expanding up to 0.9” in diameter. That’s a big hole to put through a threat, and one that will severely hamper their chances at making it to the big one-oh-oh.
