This Remington Golden Saber Defense 45 Auto cartridge’s bullet has an exceptionally tough jacket. It gives the BJHP the fortitude it needs to remain mostly intact as it overcomes barriers and enters deeply into flesh. It also helps the BJHP conserve more momentum – energy that its nose cavity’s special spiral cut rim reliably converts into wide (and deleterious) terminal expansion.

This ammo’s cases are also made of brass, but you can’t tell by looking at them thanks to their nickel plating. Nickel protects the underlying metal against tarnishing, and also reduces friction during the semi-auto’s cycle. Sealed primers and case mouths don’t immunize Golden Saber Defense ammo against water, but they do protect it a great deal.
