The ammo goes boom when it loads into the chamber.
I have a Rock Island Bushing less 1911 style Pistol. Federal JHP loads fine with out a problem and it ate hundreds of Federal ammo.
Pierce looks like it's more wide "mouth" and the bullet is more square from Federal. Also it's really soft led and it deforms just from drooping the slide lock to load the round into the camber.
The feed ramp is polished and that pistol does not miss a beat with ball ammo or Federal Hyroshock HP.

I was really disappointed cause I had to borrow ammo from someone at this event that I was shooting at.

Now I have a problem, What to do with 7.5 boxes of this ammo.

I'll never probably know for sure on these how good they are. They look ok. I'll probably try a few of them next time I get out to the range and see how they do in my .45acp. The quality looks good though.
Never an issue with Ammo To Go though.
